The Elevations Brazil
Here we can see how high in elevation parts are of Brazil and how we can start to see how this effects other features, such as climate and precipitation.'
In the northeastern part of Brazil we can see that it has close to sea level elevation. This corresponds directly with the humid equatorial climate and the heavy rainfall this area has. The closer to sea level the more rainfall we see, and the more rainfall an area has, and the warmer the the temperatures the wider diversity in life we see.
Where we see the rise in elevation we will also start to see a decline in annual precipitation, this just happens to be in the middle and lower parts of the Brazil, which is further away from the equator. The drop in annual temperature as well as the rise in elevation makes for an overall drop in precipitation.
